Job Description

The financial analyst will play a main responsibility in assisting the finance unit by making sure precise document-keeping, prompt finance reporting, and adherence with corporate rules and compliance obligations.
The position delivers an outstanding avenue for learning and growth in accounting procedures and finance Management.
In this position, you will coordinate with cross-operational internal teams to enhance the organization’s initiatives and documentation straight to the Chief of Department.

Organize periodic financial statements, which includes earnings statements, balance sheets, and money movement statements.
Assist end of month and end of year closing methods.
Help in the project setup of financial plans and financial projections.
Ensure precise and prompt status updates of financial data for executive review.

Guarantee alignment to organisation financial rules and standardized processes.
Help with external and internal audit project setup.
Stay informed on standardized best practices and integrate them into the organization’s methods.
Guarantee adherence with all Nigerian financial rules, in addition to guidelines set by bodies which includes the Finance reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN) and Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Assurance that balance sheet and income statement meet both local and international guidelines.

A Bsc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field
A member of a professional body (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) in advancement is a plus.
Deep knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures.
Outstanding quantitative and critical thinking.
Meticulousness and high levels of precision.
Competence in Excel spreadsheet software and other budget systems.
Clear expression and planning abilities.
Capability to operate in a team and oversee various key focuses.
