Position Overview

We are looking for a highly proficient and meticulous Financial Accounting officer to join our finance team and ensure precision, adherence, and data-informed finance Management across the business.

Position Overview

The Financial Accounting officer will be in charge of coordinating all finance reporting initiatives, preserving adherence with compliance guidelines (which includes IFRS), assisting audits, and offering prompt and precise findings to mentor strategic judgment. This individual will play a vital function in making sure process effectiveness and financial honesty and reliability across our multifaceted project sample of projects and solutions.

Primary duties

• Organize and send precise financial statements within accepted timelines (every month, every quarter, yearly).
• Execute end of month closing initiatives which includes ledger review, income and expenditure accounting.
• Track and documentation on accounting variations, endorsing corrective actions.
• Unify subsidiary balance sheet and income statement and ensure alignment with group guidelines.
• Oversee and resolve the tangible asset register and general ledger accounts.
• Guarantee adherence with International Finance reporting Guidelines (IFRS) and other applicable rules.
• Organize internal audit initiatives and offer all necessary recordkeeping for statutory audits.
• Ensure prompt invoicing and income acknowledgment for projects and assist agreements.
• Resolve work-in-advancement, cost of sales, stock GLs, and ensure zero error tolerance.
• Authorize WBS (Work System failure Framework) and control spending releases.
• Track recurring expenses, accruals, and ensure precise status updates.
• Resolve project-associated sub-ledger documentation to the financial statement (work-in-advancement, accruals, delayed income).
• Assist project setup of yearly financial plans, projections, and financial projections.
• Coordinate with the Projects Department to guarantee proper inventory and tools management.

Credentials & Competencies

• Education:
• Bsc in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management (MSC is a plus).
• A member of a professional body:
• ICAN or ACCA (necessary).
• Expertise:
• At least 5 years of progressive work expertise in accounting, ideally inside a tech, advising, or cross-border setting.
• Specialized abilities:
• Expert level in MS Excel and SAP (or other Enterprise platform planning/financial system).
• Deep knowledge of financial recordkeeping, settlement, and IFRS guidelines.
• Interpersonal abilities:
• Critical thinking and analytical abilities.
• Robust logical capability to recognize practices and anomalies in data.
• Clear articulation and people skills.
• High meticulousness and capability to operate under pressure with minimal oversight.
