Position Overview
As a Top level Finance Officerat Grassroots Researchers Affiliation (GRA), you'll be a key part of our finance team, critical for making sure our financial stability and responsibility. You'll collaborate with experts to oversee budget oversight, which includes accounting and status updates. Your main objective is to guarantee the productive and transparent management of capital, which directly aids GRA's vital programs.
Duties
- Oversee all daily financial processes, which includes outstanding bills and receivable, wage processing, and bank adjustments, making sure they are precise and prompt.
- Organize and show precise financial statements, which includes financial plans, money movement statements, and earnings statements, for within and outside the organization participants.
- Preserve the general ledger, making sure all financial record are documented correctly and proper accounting procedures are followed.
- Act as the main point of reach out for auditors, making sure audits are finished smoothly and on time.

Qualifications
- A Bsc in accounting, finance, economics, or a relevant field. Amaster's Academic qualification or a specialist accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN) is a significant advantage.
- At least five years of progressive expertise in finance Management and accounting, with a robust concentration on coordinating project-based financing for non-profit entities.
- Deep understanding of accounting principles, financial regulates, and international status updates guidelines, with a verified ability to oversee adherence for various donors.
- Exceptional verbal and professional writing competencies in English, especially for getting ready financial statements and demonstrations.
- Demonstrated expertise top and operating productively within diverse teams in difficult and high-pressure environments.
