About the Position

The Mobility manager will be fully in charge of the efficient management of the company’s fleet of heavy responsibility vehicles. The position needs a outcomes oriented specialist with demonstrated expertise in coordinating large scale fleet processes in Nigeria, making sure maximum vehicle uptime, rigid expense management, driver discipline, and adherence with statutory qualifications. 

Primary duties

  • Supervise daily processes of all heavy responsibility vehicles, making sure prompt deploying and accessibility. 
  • Execute preventive and corrective servicing & maintenance programs to assurance roadworthiness at all times. 
  • Ensure adherence to full adherence with FRSC, VIO, and other compliance-related bodies qualifications. 
  • Regulate and track fuel usage, servicing & maintenance expenses, and spare parts stock to prevent leakages and wastage. 
  • Set effectiveness guidelines for drivers and mechanics, making sure discipline, safety, and responsibility. 
  • Explore accidents, breakdowns, and incidents, making sure proper recordkeeping and corrective actions. 
  • Bargain and oversee agreements with service vendors, workshops, and parts suppliers. 
  • Formulate and preserve fleet tracking and supervising operational structures for real time monitoring. 
  • Hire, educate, and oversee drivers and fleet employees, enforcing effectiveness based culture. 
  • Oversee fleet financial plans, making sure budget efficiency and process effectiveness. 
  • Offer management with precise documentation on fleet utilization, fuel usage, expenditures, and total output. 

Qualifications

  • Bsc in Logistics, Transport Management, Mechanical/Automobile Engineering, or relevant field. 
  • Specialist qualifications (CILT or equivalent). 
  • 10–15 years demonstrated expertise coordinating heavy responsibility fleets in Nigeria (logistics, haulage, production operations, or FMCG sector). 
  • Robust domain expertise of heavy responsibility vehicles, servicing & maintenance procedures, and spare parts. 
  • Reliable background trading with drivers, unions, workshops, and compliance-related agencies. 
  • Exhibited capability to reduce expenses, increase productivity, and ensure adherence to discipline in fleet processes. 
  • Competence in fleet management operational structures and Office productivity software resources.
