Position Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and proficient Oncology Nursing officer to join our devoted healthcare team. As an Oncology Nursing officer, you will be in charge of offering exceptional care to cancer patients throughout their treatment journey. You will work alongside oncologists, healthcare teams, and patients to guarantee premium quality and personalized care. This position requires a strong insight of oncology care procedures, clear articulation competencies, and the capability to oversee sophisticated patient needs in a encouraging atmosphere.

Primary duties

• Offer direct nursing care to oncology patients, which includes managing chemotherapy, supervising patient terms, and making sure comfort and safety.
• Help with chemotherapy, radiation therapy, immunotherapy, and other treatments as prescribed by the oncologist.
• Teach patients and families about cancer treatments, side outcomes, symptom management, and lifestyle modifications.
• Observe patient advancement, evaluate responses to treatments, and document all necessary medical information precisely in patient records.
• Help in coordinating side outcomes which includes nausea, fatigue, and pain through suitable interventions and medication management.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team, which includes oncologists, radiologists, and community-related workers, to formulate and execute patient care strategies.
• Serve as a patient support, offering encouragement, dealing with matters, and making sure patient rights are respected.
• Take action promptly to medical crises, making sure the dispatch of safe, instant care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree / MSC in Nursing or other applicable healthcare discipline
• Fluency in English (both spoken communication and documented)
• At least 3 years’ operating expertise in healthcare
• Solid understanding of healthcare compliance guidelines
• Competence in application of healthcare information operational structures
• Outstanding clinical and critical thinking competencies
