About the Position

• The position is at the frontline of Third-Party Processes implementation, to help the regional Third-Party Business operations manager and will collaborate with Africa Work collaboratively Markets Advancements managers, Business-related and other Stock teams in addition to Associates. The position closely helps the regional TPO manager with the standard procedure TPO initiatives across markets.
• The position is 1 of 2 in the same team within Africa, seeking after production operations sites that manufacture Diageo Beer, Spirits and RTD, through Third Party Processes Production operations models, inside the Anglophone cluster sites.
• The incumbent will be necessary to build robust operating connections with each of the Third Parties technical teams in the region/ segment where there is no direct Diageo presence and with the Diageo business-related and stock teams that are responsible for these strategic collaborations and be capable to channel any business requests to the right persons in Diageo.
• They should be capable to navigate through various cultures and may collaborate with up to 10 different production operations units/ markets/ countries and possesses a meaningful position to play for Diageo Third Party Processes by offer guidance and assist to the technical teams of the associates to assurance Corporate identity Technical Equity. They will be the first point of reach out /face of Diageo for the Third-Party technical teams.
• The objective of this position is to offer technical compliance assist to the Third-party Business operations manager in the allocated APM segment/ network to:
• Guarantee alignment to TPO ways of operating
• Compliance to our Diageo risk mitigation strategy guidelines,
• Formulate our work collaboratively’s ability,
• Assist new product development / advancements with our associates and
• Lead cost reduction/value maximization for our product stock from third party processes.
• For the Francophone position, competence in both French and English is essential.

Position duties

Lead adherence of Diageo goods to Corporate identity Technical Documented guide requirements and guarantee standard targets are fulfilled for all brands generated by Third Party Processes. Assist the introduction and the revenue generation of brands in new markets through a new or an current Third Party i.e. Offer project coordination executive guidance for product roll out, new corporate identity begin-ups and worldwide programs. Embed TPO Management guidelines with current and prospective TPO which includes results tracking, agreement development or agreement extension, standards oversight, cost management, to enhance TPO value.

Multinational brand Technical teams, OPEX dispatch team, TPO Managers, Advancements Managers, Chief of Stock TPO, APM Executive guidance team, Associates.

Obstacles to success:

• The role requires occasional business commute inside the segment in Africa, therefore the incumbent needs to oversee the position productively from a range of sites
• Inability to prioritize, strategy and oversee the task volume
• Inability to stand for Diageo in a specialist and skilled manner on every facet of brewing, wrapping and logistics
• Insufficient lead and adaptability to attain wanted outcomes
• Lack of basic comprehension of comprehensive Stock Chain management
