Role summary
The Treasury & Financial funding Manager will supervise Heirs Holdings’ treasury and financial funding processes, making sure the efficient management of liquidity, risk, capital, and financial funding plans across the company’s multifaceted sectors. This position is instrumental in optimizing money movement, conceptualizing financing plans, coordinating foreign exchange and interest rate exposure, and assisting the Group’s long-term financial long-term viability and growth.
Duties
- Oversee cash predicting, money movement, and operating capital qualifications, preserve adequate liquidity to assist the Group’s financial funding and business targets.
- Head programs for capital procurement and capital raising, which includes debt, equity, and alternative funding options to meet the Group’s growth targets.
- Recognize, track, and oversee financial risks, which includes liquidity, market, foreign exchange, and interest rate risks.
- Formulate and implement plans for the financial funding of free capital in securities, capital markets, money market instruments, and other authorized financial funding vehicles.
- Carry out market analysis and evaluation on financial opportunities, industry trends, and economic indicators to guide financial funding decisions.
- Oversee investments in government securities, corporate bonds, equities, shared capital, and other short-to-medium-term instruments in line with authorized rules.
- Recognize and assess avenues for involvement in capital markets which includes bonds, business-related papers, and organized financial goods.
- Collaborate with financial consultants, brokers, and compliance-related bodies to coordinate capital market financial record.
- Establish and preserve treasury rules and guarantee adherence possessing applicable compliance obligations and organizational guidelines.
- Head enhancements in treasury management operational structures, making sure precise status updates, upgraded cash visibility, and streamlined processes.
Qualifications
- Bsc in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a relevant field; an Master of business administration or applicable MSC will be an added advantage.
- Specialist qualifications (CFA, ACA/ACCA) is compulsory.
- At least 10 years of expertise in treasury, financial funding management business finance with a minimum of 3 years in a executive function within a international entity or financial institution.
- Deep knowledge of capital markets, treasury management, and risk risk reduction in multifaceted sectors and across African markets.
- Proven expertise in money movement predicting, capital lifting, and financing plan.
- Exceptional logical, strategic, and management abilities, with a concentration on optimizing financial assets and assisting long-term growth.
