Job Description
Duties Overarching Duty:
To offer cutting edge financial evaluation and status updates assist to the company; and safeguarding the assets of the company by making sure suitable adherence possessing applicable PHN’s rules in its financial record.
Status updates:
- Offer necessary assist at ensure a prompt project setup of management accounts on every month and every quarter basis, etc;
- Oversee the grant accounts for the various grants received, making sure adequate status updates is offered as accepted with the various donors.
- Routinely track the grant financial plans, to decide burn rate, variances and accordingly advise management from time to time.
- Offer necessary adjustments and assist during statutory audits, tax audits and other associated initiatives.
Adherence:
- Critically evaluate all payment requests, and verify that they are wholly, reasonably, exclusively and necessarily to be incurred for the perks of the Alliance;
- Operating with the procurement team, make sure that expenses incurred by the Alliance are attractive; making sure that suitable standardized process is followed for expenses to be incurred on representation of PSHAN
- Make sure that payment is processed for only authorized financial record;
- Pursue adherence in initiatives of teams, procurement, audit, statutory conclusions and remittance, etc. as offered for in the applicable rules and statutes.
- Guarantee adherence regarding prompt inference and remittance of statutory conclusions and remittance (PAYE, NHF, Pensions, etc);
- Guarantee promptness filling of balance sheet and income statement with FIRS, CAC and other applicable bodies;
Credentials and Competencies
- Bsc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field (ACA/ACCA will be an added advantage).
- 3–5 years’ expertise in finance/accounting, ideally in non-profit or donor-financed projects.
- Solid understanding of finance reporting, financial planning, and statutory adherence.
- Skilled in Excel spreadsheet software and financial system.
- Outstanding logical, corporate, and analytical abilities.
- High honesty and reliability, meticulousness, and capability to deliver on time.
- Clear expression and collaborative ability.
