Position Profile

The Director, Financial Regulates is in charge of coordinating and carrying out the work strategy of the financial regulates unit in accordance with the institutional plan and structure, to head the execution of a strong internal regulate structure and ensure the prompt, precise dispatch of balance sheet and income statement completely aligned with accounting guidelines, Financial support’s rules and key focuses in addition to international industry standards.

Obligations and Duties:

  • Finance Management and regulate
  • Ensures quality regulates over financial financial record, sustains precise records of accounts and assisting documents for all financial financial record of the OPEC Financial support
  • Supervises the finance reporting qualifications of the Financial support and any special capital under the OPEC Financial support’s management to ensure protection of financial honesty and reliability and guarantee adherence with International Finance reporting Guidelines and other Special Accounting Guidelines
  • Directs the quarterly-end and end of year close process to guarantee precise and prompt status updates

  • Confirms adherence with financial/accounting regulations and standardized processes, which includes cost center distribution

  • Administrative support

  • Advises and associates with Treasury on a wide-ranging of initiatives, which includes cash and liquidity management, foreign exchange, financing and status updates cost assessments externally to the Custodian and internally for accounting purposes
  • Assessments and approves the verification of treasury agreements, in accordance with the authorizations and established standardized processes, compliance standards
  • Manages the formation and servicing & maintenance of partner records

  • Delivers executive guidance and supervises a highly proficient, diverse multifaceted team of experts with direct status updates from Accounting (Financial Regulates and Status updates) and Administrative support
  • Directs by example, uplifting and inspiring the team to preserve the highest level of relation with the institution
  • Leads and aids adjustment management programs
  • Supervises relation with external auditors to help them to discharge their duties, making sure precise, prompt, and finalize entry of financial data to the Audit & Risk Board
  • Conceptualizes and trains employees and aids personal development strategies
