Program Officer at Malaria Consortium in Abuja

Scope 

The role occupant would offer activity management, business and managerial assist towards the successful project setup and dispatch of the TOR (ToR) of the ITNs market evaluation project. These may engage site commute and direct/practical assist as may be necessary in selected states and Local Government Zones.

Technical (20%):

Assist organizing (development and deploying of data collectors for site survey). Assist all execution initiatives (data collection, QA and advancements, which includes the use of tech).

Crucial:

• Expertise of middle-level involvement in similar community health analysis including several states
• Ability in community health public involvement
• Practical understanding of Office productivity software bundle with good documentation skilled in writing.
• Applicant must not be a active staff of any government ministry or agency as at the time of hiring process.
• Residency within Abuja and accessibility for the duration of the MMA- Prevention survey.
• Outstanding project organizing, management and M&E competencies.
• Expertise coordinating financial plans;

Key Operating Connections:

• The PO would be line handled by the SPM and would collaborate with the LGA Site Assistants in-charge of the allocated LGAs (presumably within a specific senatorial zone of a state).
• S/he would also sustain connections with the country workspace departments, which includes Finance and Logistics.
• Key external connections would be with employees at the LGA and State Malaria Elimination Program (SMEP), LGA health employees and top group members and gatekeepers.
• S/he would head micro-organizing, development and synchronization, through drug management and helpful oversight, to status updates of initiatives at the LGA level.
• S/he would preserve close information exchange with participants and powerful persons in the allocated LGAs through the accepted frameworks.
