Information security Evaluator at Ascentech Services Limited in Surulere, Lagos

Role summary

We are seeking a very driven and meticulous Information security Evaluator to join our team. The successful applicant will play a main responsibility in optimizing our cybersecurity processes, which includes risk exposure management, patch lifecycle, guard automatic control, third-party risk mitigation strategy, and issue resolution process. This role requires robust specialized skill, logical thinking, and a cooperative approach to optimizing our entire guard posture.

Software Guard Assessments:

Collaborate with IT and application teams to evaluate new/current software for risks. Guarantee adherence with internal software guard rules and guidelines.

Project & Execution Assist:

Work alongside IT/guard teams in deploying new resources and initiatives. Ensure proper recordkeeping, running test, and development for deployed operational structures.

Qualifications

• Bsc in Computer Science, Information Tech, Cybersecurity, or a relevant field.
• At least 2 years’ expertise in Information security, risk exposure management, or guard processes.
• Practical expertise in risk exposure scanning resources (e.g., Qualys, Rapid7, SecPod), patch management, and SOAR/SIEM channels.
• Deep knowledge of frameworks which includes NIST, ISO 27001, and ITIL.
• Expertise with vendor risk evaluations and software guard evaluate will be an added advantage.
• Outstanding issue resolution, status updates, and verbal abilities.
