Position Overview

The Quality assurance Officer will be in charge of supervising, analyzing, and making sure that all unedited materials, manufacturing workflows, and finished goods meet established food safety, hygiene, and quality benchmarks. The position requires meticulousness, expertise in food safety rules, and the capability to execute quality assurance standardized processes in a dynamic food generation/QSR environment.

Primary duties

• Examine unedited materials, in-process items, and finished goods to guarantee adherence with organisation guidelines and compliance obligations.
• Formulate and execute quality assurance standardized processes across generation and service lines.
• Carry out standard procedure checks on generation zones, tools, and storage facilities to guarantee adherence with hygiene and sanitation guidelines.
• Track compliance to recipes, portion sizes, and product requirements.
• Collaborate with generation, procurement, and processes teams to recognize and accurate quality concerns.
• Record assessment outcomes, organize quality documentation, and preserve precise records for audits.
• Guarantee adherence with HACCP, NAFDAC, SON, and other food safety guidelines.
• Educate employees on quality and hygiene guidelines, which includes proper managing and storage of food.
• Explore client service issues connected with quality, endorse corrective actions, and check in on solution.
• Assist the development of ongoing development programs for product standard and uniformity.

Credentials & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree / Higher national diploma in Food Science or associated discipline.
• 3 - 5 years of expertise in quality assurance/guarantee within QSR, FMCG, or food production operations industries.
• Sound expertise in food safety rules, HACCP principles, and GMP (Good Production operations Procedures).
• Robust logical and analytical abilities.
• High meticulousness with the capability to identify product variations.
• Skilled in MS Workspace (Excel, Word, analytics platforms).
• Clear expression and people skills for development and cross-department partnership.
