Job Description
Position Overview
To guarantee that in-process materials and manufacturing workflows adhere with GMP guidelines and defined requirements by carrying out standard procedure inspections and sampling during generation initiatives.
Primary duties
- Carry out in-process inspection procedures on production operations initiatives which includes granulation, compression, coating, filling, and wrapping methods.
- Track critical process parameters and guarantee alignment to authorized batch production operations records (BMR) and standard operating standardized processes (SOPs).
- Execute sampling and running test of in-process materials (e.g., weight difference, hardness, friability, disintegration time, leak test, etc.).
- Ensure line clearance before the begin of any batch or product changeover.
- Documentation any deviations or non-conformities observed during the process to the Quality assurance/Quality control Manager or Manager.
- Ensure proper segregation, labeling, and managing of in-process and midlevel materials.
- Preserve precise and prompt recordkeeping of observations and test outcomes.
- Help in the investigative of process deviations and assist CAPA execution.
- Guarantee adherence with cGMP, safety, and hygiene guidelines during processes.
- Engage in standard procedure development on GMP and SOPs.
- Assist ongoing development programs in quality and generation processes.
Credentials and Expertise
- Bachelor's degree / Higher national diploma in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Industrial Chemistry, or associated science discipline.
- 1–3 years of expertise in IPQC or a associated quality position in a pharmaceutical production operations environment.
- Good expertise in cGMP, in-process running test standardized processes, and pharmaceutical production operations processes.
- Understanding with compliance obligations (e.g., NAFDAC, PCN is a plus.
