Goal

The goal of this consultancy is to participate certified Project officer(s) who will offer business and IT assistance to the state execution team to guarantee efficient organizing, synchronization, execution, and status updates of the 2025 combined SMC/ITN marketing.

Objective of the Task

The Project officer Advisor will assist Malaria Consortium’s state execution team to supply SMC/ITN initiatives at LGA level. The advisor will organize closely with LGA Site Officers, state participants, supervisors, and health facility employees to guarantee successful marketing roll-out. The position covers business organizing, oversight, logistics synchronization, status updates, and participant relation.

 Embedded Assist Model:

Advisor will be embedded within MC’s state execution framework and work across all allocated LGAs. Will organize directly with LGA teams, supervisors, and MC State Technical specialist.

 Execution Plan:

  • Assist business organizing and guarantee promptness accessibility of marketing materials.
  • Organize logistics allocation, development, and oversight across allocated LGAs.
  • Track execution quality, offering IT assistance to supervisors, LFOs, and group systems.

Assist and Oversight:

Documentation straight to the State Program Manager, with dotted-line technical monitoring from the State Technical specialist. Engage in routine synchronization and evaluate sessions at state level.

Timeline:

Advisor will be engaged for 30 operating days from August to October 2025.

Responsibility:

  • Documentation straight to the State Program Manager – Yobe.
  • Works closely with the State Technical specialist, Monitoring and evaluation Officer, and ICT4D team.
  • Aligns with MC’s safeguarding, ethics, and information security rules.

Assist and Assets:

  • Advisor to use personal laptop and smartphone.
  • MC will offer entry to internet and marketing analytics platforms.
  • ICT4D and oversight resources will be deployed during orientation.

Anticipated Result:

  • Smooth synchronization and execution of SMC/ITN initiatives across LGAs.
  • Prompt accessibility of products, development, and logistics.
  • Precise and prompt status updates from LGAs.
  • Strengthening capacity of supervisors and LGA teams.
  • Recordkeeping of lessons learned and industry standards.

Consultancy Qualifications

  • Academic qualification in Community health, Community-related Sciences, or relevant field.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ expertise in programme execution, ideally malaria or community health marketing.
  • Robust synchronization and supervisory competencies.
  • Expertise in logistics and participant relation.
  • Effective communication and people skills.
  • Competence in English and Hausa; Kanuri is a plus.
