Work Expertise:

• At least  5 -10 years (SBO – AM) post-service experience expertise in:
• Internal Audit
• Risk mitigation strategy
• Internal Regulate
• External Audit (Especially in Banking or Financial Solutions)
• Expertise in branch processes or regulate operation within a bank is highly preferred. 
• Practical experience with core banking operational structures (e.g., Finacle) is a plus.

Verbal abilities:

• Outstanding verbal and professional writing.
• Capability to compose clear and brief audit documentation.
• Good people skills for interacting with branch and lead personnel.

Conductual & Ethical Traits:

• High level of honesty and reliability, objectivity, and secrecy.
• Robust sense of specialist skepticism and meticulousness.
• Capability to operate independently and under pressure.
• Exhibited sound judgment in sophisticated conditions.

Compliance-related Expertise:

• CBN rules
• BOFIA (Banks and Other Financial Institutions Act)
• NDIC qualifications
• Anti-money laundering (AML) and counter-terrorism funding (CTF)
• Tax Rules – FIRS & LIRS

Tech Competence:

Robust competence in Ms office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Cozy using audit management software and data evaluation resources.

Cultural & Corporate Suit:

Readiness to commute often to allocated branches across different regions. Displays alignment with the core values and ethics of the financial institution.
