Role summary

The Warehouse Manager manages stock management, prompt loading/unloading of goods, inventory precision, synchronization with sales and logistics teams, and ensures order, cleanliness, and safety inside the warehouse.

Primary duties

• Stock / Inventory Management
• Preserve precise inventory records using documented guide or online platforms.
• Carry out routine inventory counts and resolve physical vs. system records.
• Ensure adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First-Out) principles.
• Documentation low inventory levels and organize restocking.
• Recognize and documentation slow-moving inventory to prevent expiry.
• Verify that every stock initiatives follow the organization’s SOPs and inventory managing standard procedures.
• Carry out consistent inventory checks and cycle counts to identify discrepancies.
• Help in inventory audits and ensure assisting documents are filed and accessible for evaluate.
• Supervise proper storage procedures: product labeling, stacking, and safe managing (especially for perishables).
• Organize project setup and ensure the precision of all inventory-associated documents (e.g., GRNs, waybills, dispatch notes).
• Documentation inventory variances, compensation, or shortages to the Chief of Warehouse Processes, with root cause evaluation and suggested outcomes.
• Send routine and on a weekly basis effectiveness and inventory documentation to the Chief of Warehouse.

Credentials

Interested applicants should have an OND, Higher national diploma, or Bsc with 1 year expertise.
