Accounting officer - Culinary service Sector at Optimistic Consultants Limited in Rivers

Wage processing Management:

Process employees salaries, wages, and stipends in line with organisation regulatory framework. Guarantee adherence with statutory conclusions (PAYE, pensions, taxes, etc.).

Finance reporting:

• Organize periodic balance sheet and income statement (on a weekly basis, every month, every quarter).
• Offer management with profit and loss documentation, money movement evaluation, and variance documentation.
• Assist in getting ready end of year accounts and coordinating with with auditors.

Credentials & Competencies

• Bsc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
• A member of a professional body (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is a plus.
• At least 3–5 years accounting expertise, ideally in the culinary service, hospitality, or food service sector.
• Solid understanding of financial planning, cost accounting, and finance reporting.
• Competence in financial system (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Tally) and Excel spreadsheet software.
• Outstanding logical, corporate, and analytical abilities.
• Capability to operate under pressure, deliver on time, and assist event-based processes.
• Robust honesty and reliability and meticulousness.

Essential skills:

• Budgeting and evaluation.
• Cost management in F&B processes.
• Robust interpersonal and verbal abilities.
• Capability to operate jointly with kitchen, processes, and procurement teams.
