Financial funding Officer at Neptune Microfinance Bank in Lagos

Position Overview

The Financial funding Officer is in charge of pushing the growth of the bank’s deposit project sample by procurement new clients, promotion deposit goods, and preserving robust customer connections. The position is results-focused and attentive on mobilizing deposits from individuals, SMEs, and corporate entities in line with the bank’s strategic targets.

Primary duties

• Aggressively mobilize deposits (savings, ongoing, fixed/financial funding deposits) to meet allocated targets.
• Market the bank’s financial funding and liability goods to current and prospective clients.
• Recognize, potential opportunity, and formulate new commercial opportunities across in-store, SME, and corporate segments.
• Build and preserve robust client connections to increase commitment and retention.
• Offer consultative to clients on accessible deposit and financial funding goods to match their financial needs.
• Accomplish routine, on a weekly basis, and every month deposit targets as allocated under leadership.
• Organize and send promotion documentation on deposit mobilization initiatives.
• Track rivals’ deposit rates and promotion plans, and offer input for executive review.
• Cross-sell other bank goods and solutions to deposit clients.

Credentials & Expertise

• Higher national diploma / Bachelor's degree in Promotion, Business Management, Banking & Finance, or relevant field.
• At least 3–5 years’ expertise in deposit mobilization, promotion, or sales in business-related, microfinance bank or financial technology
• Verified ability to meet and exceed set deposit targets.
