Role summary

The Audit officer is in charge of analyzing and optimizing the performance of risk mitigation strategy, internal regulates, and compliance methods inside the company. The position ensures adherence with organisation rules, statutory rules, and industry guidelines while safeguarding organisation assets and supporting process effectiveness.

Duties

• Carry out risk-based audits across alloperations, which includes generation, stock management, sales, promotion, procurement, and allocation.
• Evaluate and assess internal regulates to guarantee adherence with organisation rules, SOPs, and compliance obligations.
• Track inventory regulate, wastage, shrinkage, and asset utilization to prevent financial and business losses.
• Audit sales, campaigns, pricing, and credit rules to guarantee precision and prevent income leakages.
• Recognize fraud risks, process differences, and inefficiencies, and endorse corrective measures.
• Carry out surprise checks at plants, warehouses, depots, and in-store outlets.
• Organize clear audit documentation, highlighting findings, risks, and practical strategic guidance for management.
• Check in on execution of corrective actions and offer assistance in process enhancements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, authorities, and other participants when necessary.

Certification andRequirements

• Bsc in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management, or relevant field.
• A member of a professional body: ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, or CISA is a plus.
• 3 – 5 years of internal audit expertise, preferably inside the FMCG, production operations, or allocation sector.
• Solid understanding of auditing guidelines, FMCG processes, and risk mitigation strategy procedures.
• Logical, meticulous, and highly structured.
• Clear expression and documentation-skilled in writing.
• High professional conduct, autonomy, and capability to manage sensitive information.
