HSE Officer - Project Oversight at Independent Project Monitoring Company Limited (IPMC) in Lagos

Position Overview

The Health, safety, and environment Officer will be in charge of making sure that all project initiatives for the new allocation network are carried out completely aligned with health, safety, and ecological guidelines. The position includes close supervising of in-field initiatives, initiative-driven risk mitigation strategy, and full compliance to local and international safety rules during installation, initiating, and early processes.

System issue Management:

Explore all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe terms, and endorse corrective/preventive actions. Preserve proper recordkeeping of all safety incidents and client engagement actions.

Credentials s Qualifications

• Bsc or Higher national diploma in Safety, Ecological Science, Engineering, or relevant field.
• At least 5 years' Health, safety, and environment expertise in electrical allocation or utility projects.
• Accreditation in Health, safety, and environment (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISPON) is compulsory.
• Solid understanding of IEC, IEEE, and local safety guidelines.
• Exhibited capability to operate in high-pressure, dynamic project environments.
• Clear articulation and people skills.
