Accounting officer at De-Net Optimum Communication Limited in Asaba - Delta / Port Harcourt - Rivers / Lagos

Role summary

As we proceed to expand our processes, we are looking for meticulous and skilled Accounting officers to join our finance team in Lagos, Port Harcourt, and Asaba.

Primary duties

• Oversee daily accounting processes and guarantee adherence with financial rules.
• Organize and preserve precise finance records, statements, and documentation.
• Track outstanding receivables and payable, making sure prompt collections and payments.
• Resolve financial statements and preserve general ledger entries.
• Help in financial planning, financial predicting, and money movement management.
• Assist audits and coordinate with auditors when necessary.
• Execute and preserve efficient internal regulate operational structures.
• Collaborate with management to offer financial findings for strategic judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree / Higher national diploma in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
• 5 to 10 years of demonstrated expertise in accounting or finance positions.
• Professional certification which includes ACA, ACCA, or ICAN (fully or partially certified) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, procedures, and guidelines.
• Competence in financial system and MS Workspace resources (especially Excel).
• Outstanding logical, corporate, and analytical abilities.
• High level of precision, meticulousness, and honesty and reliability.
• Capability to operate independently and deliver on time.
