Accounting officer at Latitude Cafe and Lounge in Enugu

Position Overview

We’re an expanding hospitality new venture on a purpose to produce operations excellency and financial discipline from day one. We're looking for a certified Accounting officer who doesn’t just finalize accounts, but can design the records, build the frameworks, and head the financial visual stories of the organization. If you possess organized finance departments or built operational structures from scratch in a dynamic business, this is your avenue to own the full scope of finance engine of an driven new venture.

Financial Processes:

• Supervise routine accounting processes which includes AP/AR, adjustments, bank processes, and stock costing.
• Organize and evaluate every month, every quarter, and yearly balance sheet and income statement.
• Oversee wage processing inputs, statutory conclusions, and coordinate with Human resources and Processes to guarantee financial precision.

Strategic Finance & Findings:

• Produce findings to enhance expenditure, enhance margins, and mentor pricing plans.
• Assist capital raising and investor preparedness through precise records and finance reporting.
• Advise management on financial risks, capital distribution, and growth long-term viability.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years post-certification expertise in accounting or finance.
• Certified Accounting officer – ACA, ACCA or equivalent (Compulsory).
• Robust exposure to startups, advising firms, or businesses where you supported build finance processes from the ground up.
• Outstanding expertise in IFRS, tax legal provisions, hospitality finance (a plus), and Enterprise platform planning/accounting operational structures (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero).
• High meticulousness, critical thinking, and process-minded.
