Initiatives Expert - Smart Building & Energy Intelligence at Metikon Engineering Limited in Abuja (FCT)

About the position

We are looking for a adaptable Initiatives Expert to head business development, technical sales, and initiative design for our smart building automatic control, energy intelligence, and improved authorization operational structures across Nigeria. This position is both business-related and technical, in charge of finding avenues, compelling customers, designing tailored initiatives, and managing project implementation with our in-house teams.

Primary duties

• Recognize and formulate new commercial opportunities in the business-related, industrial, hospitality, and property sectors.
• Engage with customers to evaluate their automatic control, energy effectiveness, and authorization needs.
• Organize and supply technical demonstrations, exhibitions, and proposals to decision-makers.
• Head the full sales process — from lead generation and proposal development to agreement signing.
• Collaborate with technical groups to organize system designs, schematics, and BOQs.
• Offer technical input for tenders, offers, and RFP responses.
• Organize with Metikon’s in-house installation teams to guarantee accurate execution, system setup, and initiating.
• Stay informed on IoT, building automatic control, and energy management technical solutions to improve initiative offerings.

Teaching Qualifications

Bsc in Electrical and electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field. Additional qualifications in IoT, automatic control operational structures, or energy management are a plus.

Expertise & Competencies:

• 5+ years’ expertise in technical sales, initiative design, or execution of building automatic control, energy management, or authorization operational structures.
• Verified ability to oversee the full sales cycle independently.
• Robust visual communication and verbal abilities for both technical and non-technical target groups.
• Business-related consciousness and capability to formulate new markets.
• Competence in Office productivity software; understanding with CAD or system design resources will be an added advantage.
• Readiness to commute within Nigeria for customer sessions and on-site visits.
