Position Overview

The Accounting officer is in charge of coordinating finance records, getting ready precise documentation, making sure adherence with accounting guidelines, and assisting the company’s financial strategic judgment process. The position includes preserving proper records of accounts, processing financial record, adjusting accounts, and getting ready financial plans and tax filings.

Status updates & Evaluation:

• Organize every month, every quarter, and yearly balance sheet and income statement.
• Evaluate financial data to recognize practices, variances, and avenues for expense management.
• Assist management with financial projections and financial planning.

Adherence & Taxation:

• Guarantee adherence with local, state, and federal tax rules.
• Organize and file tax returns on time.
• Help in within and outside the organization audits by offering necessary recordkeeping.

Internal Regulates:

Preserve efficient internal regulates to ensure protection of organisation assets. Execute industry standards to improve effectiveness in accounting processes.

Credentials & Competencies

• Bsc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field (A member of a professional body which includes ACA, ACCA, or CPA is a plus).
• Demonstrated expertise as an Accounting officer or in a similar position.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, guidelines, and tax rules.
• Competence in financial system (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Tally) and MS Excel.
• Outstanding logical, issue resolution, and planning abilities.
• High level of precision and meticulousness.
• Clear expression and people skills.
