Fraud Desk Inquiries Officer at Unified Payments Services Limited in Victoria Island, Lagos

Position Overview

The fraud investigative officer will be in charge of evaluating moderate to sophisticated account initiatives and utilizing various fraud resources to identify and prevent fraudulent initiatives. Recognizes and escalates any suspected, reported or known within and outside the organization fraud inquiries against the organization and its merchants

Duties

• In charge of the development and execution of fraud risk methods, resources, rules, guidelines, and standardized processes in alignment with the CBN compliance-related rules.
• Execute Routine transaction evaluate, supervising and trend evaluation investigative.
• Delivers Periodic/every month entry of prevented users, newly on boarded merchants, fraudulent financial record, authorized and refused financial record.
• Carry out Merchant transaction supervising; offer Monitoring list & Hospitality Merchants’ documentation. ▪ Carry out goal, fair, thorough, impartial and prompt inquiries on fraud incidences reported by schemes, banks and other external e-payment participants.
• Collaborate with other departments inside the company to explore and settle fraudulent incidents.
• Documents inquiries for both internal tracking and compliance-related status updates purposes.
• Sustains communication link connection with local, state and federal Law Enforcement agencies.
• Participate court hearings when necessary.
• Escalates concerns with possibility for negative industry and/or corporate exposure
• Produce and supplies fraud development of all employees for company-wide fraud consciousness.

Qualifications

Education Academic qualification / Higher national diploma in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Community-related Sciences, Engineering, Business Management, Information Tech or associated fields.
