Overview
To carry out Logical Running test on Agri-food products and documentation evaluation in accordance to the Laboratory capabilities, either individually or in a collaborative environment, to pre-set targets and to assist the parameters defined by the Laboratory Manager.
Responsibilites
- Carry out pesticide residue evaluation in food and agricultural samples using GC-MS/MS, and LC-MS/MS.
- To carry out evaluation to strong precision and quality in conformance with established methods, guidance and quality benchmarks
- To carry out evaluation on a variety of products, unedited and processed Food goods, Water and Soil or materials as specified in the Laboratories ability documents under own plan, or as directed by the Laboratory Management in rigid accordance with the applicable authorized regulated standardized processes
- To calculate, comprehend and confirm outcomes
- Aligns with organisation Code of Ethics Regulatory framework.
- Follows Standard Operating Standardized processes (SOPs) and Work Directions (WIs) when carrying out any laboratory work or standardized process.
- Prioritizes routine task volume based on sample and customer requirement.
- Delivers Manager/Manager with status reports on desk status which includes improve alert of any setbacks.
- Comprehends evaluation standardized processes and issue solves concerns.
- Recognizes any non-standard procedure samples and looks for direction on standardized processes for managing.
- Recognizes and communicates non-conformances to Manager.
- Sustains development records and applicable credentials.
- Meets quality and TAT requirements necessary by the customer and ensure samples are evaluated within holding time qualifications.
- Keeps work zone clean, neat and structured.
- Engages, when requested in Department and Health & Safety sessions.
- Engages, when requested in within and outside the organization audits.
- Delivers development, specialized skill and training to new employees.
- Initiative-driven in making sure that expendable inventory are accessible in the lab.
- Make sure that instruments and tools are accordingly preserved.
- Guarantee adherence with ISO 17025, and other compliance guidelines.
- Organize and confirm logical methods for pesticide discovery.
- Preserve precise recordkeeping and documentation findings without delay.
- Diagnose issues and calibrate lab instruments as needed.
- Work alongside the QA team for audits and process enhancements.
- Follow Standard Operating Standardized processes (SOP’s) to guarantee precision and quality of work.
- Make sure that quality assurance evaluation benchmarks are fulfilled for all reported data.
- Offer input to corrective action standardized processes.
- Ensure due dates are fulfilled and that the tools is accordingly preserved.
Credentials
- Bachelor’s / MSC in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science, or relevant field.
- At least 2 years of practical experience in pesticide residue evaluation.
- Competence in chromatography methods (GC/LC-MS) and data analysis.
- Understanding with food safety guidelines (e.g., EU MRLs, CODEX, FDA).
- Robust meticulousness and logical analytical abilities.
- Expertise in ISO 17025:2017 qualifications.
