Explanation

  • Oversee Buys in the Lab Workspace allocated through Buy Requisitions Public relations.
  • Conduct review of allocated Public relations’s of adequate material specification, financial plan approvals and relative cost centers, check if material was bought previously, increase RFQ, and to client engagement until Buying request (PO) formation, which includes addressing associated concerns
  • Adhere with Organisation’s Business regulations and Ethics.
  • Utilize the use of e- procurement resources and to meet up with a target of events set for the section/department/Division.
  • Execute on applicable Buy Orders produced price record, before getting such passed to the Buying Manager for authorization
  • Ensure PO files are properly structured to conform to guidelines and checklist which is attached to each PO files
  • Engage & ensure effectiveness of Duets/Triplets system including Users and Inventory Section.
  • Verify that every buying initiatives meet audit qualifications in adherence with Organisation Referential, rules and standardized processes, in addition to Organisation Business regulations and Ethics, in order to reduce any prospective collaborator/audit requests, contraventions or court actions.
  • Where relevant to transparently state in PO’s Quality assurance/Quality control qualifications (in the form of mill test certifications, MSDS, other certifications) for bought materials/tools and checking adherence through proper recordkeeping
  • Pay attention to organisation General Terms and Terms of buy to guarantee the
  • Organisation is not exposed to lawful financial obligations.
  • Follow PO effectiveness which includes speeding up till dispatch point and payment of supplier bills
  • Documentation on vendor effectiveness on PO’s assessment to Organisation Manager for harmonization with M&P Dept.
  • Recognize and optimize the use of industry standards, especially in key zones where procurement initiatives can add value and/or reduce time and attempt expended on nonstrategic qualifications to attain repetitive advancement on the budget efficiency of the procurement service and the team.
  • Submit application and ensure adherence to the use of Market Intelligence resources accessible in organisation (Market, Suppliers, Cost Models, target prices)
  • Enhance buying acts with emphasis on making savings for the organization.
  • Savings must be duly documented for divisional/organisation appreciation.
  • Execute any other duty as allocated by Manager.
  • Oversee buys with “moving” programs or in according to crises.
  • Collaborate in terms of transversal connection in coordinating unforeseen business concerns of immense effect
  • Familiarize self with organisation crisis standardized processes and answer to the Manager any system issue, unsafe act or process.
  • Carry out Solutions safely according to organisation Health, safety, and environment standardized processes in such a manner to reduce / eliminate unsafe exposure to self or member workers
  • On all the material buys check what Health, safety, and environment implication is participated in terms of materials not being conforming with business use, and vendors not conforming with Health, safety, and environment qualifications.
  • Ensure productive Buying Solutions with the best possible blend of “dispatch”, “quality” and “price/cost”.
  • Repeatedly enhance procurement procedures. Recognize avenues to improve the stock chain.

Staff Profile

  • A good Academic qualification in Engineering, Business Management or Community-related Sciences.
  • Credentials/Expertise in Instrumentation or Electrical / Electronic Engineering would be highly sought-after for this role.
  • 3 to 5 years Petroleum sector Industry expertise requiring at least 2 years of expertise as a Field service engineer
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute of Buying & Stock (CIPS UK or Nigeria) not a prerequisite but would be inspired
  • Clear expression and critical thinking are necessary for variety of sophisticated within and outside the organization talks
  • Applicant’s capability to learn & be prepared quickly on SAP/R3, BW, e-procurement instrument (JUPITER) and e-transit resources is a plus.
  • Requires a very good interpersonal connection, conviviality, capacity of expectation, evaluation and synthesis
  • Effective communication competencies
