Position Overview

The Chief of SPD will be in charge of optimizing all the avenues for spiritual formation in the Church by fostering and edifying the members of the congregation. The Chief of SPD will also design, supervise, and manage spiritual development avenues. The person will assist members to grow in their faith, to grow in maturity and wisdom, and to build their faith on a solid base so that they can then disciple and head others toward delivering the objective/goal of the Church

Guidance & Discipleship:

• Establish and supervise guidance and discipleship programs that link newer members with seasoned Church members.
• Educate and provide with tools spiritual trains and discipleship key stakeholders to assist members on their faith journeys.
• Produce pathways for members to formulate and deepen their spiritual grants in line with their calling.

Worship and Prayer Programs:

• Work alongside worship teams to produce meaningful and compelling worship experiences.
• Formulate prayer programs, which includes prayer groups, prayer chains, and spiritual retreats, to deepen the prayer life of the congregation.
• Promote involvement in consistent worship and prayer as part of spiritual growth.

Qualifications

• Bsc in theology, ministry, or a relevant field; Master’s preferred.
• Additional professional certification is a plus.
• Academic qualification in Community-related Sciences/Management/Arts or any other relevant field.
• At least 8 to 10 years’ work expertise in an teaching/learning space or associated environment.
• Skilled in Office productivity software (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and social platforms web channels.
• Strong insight of Christian doctrine and Church lecturing.
• Expertise in discipleship, spiritual guidance, and programme management.
• Robust interpersonal and management abilities, with the capability to motivate peers.
