Role summary

The Weighbridge Officer is in charge of precisely weighing all incoming and outgoing Goods, making sure proper recordkeeping, preserving weighbridge tools, and conforming to organisation standardized processes to assurance process effectiveness, adherence, and data precision.

Duties

• Operate the weighbridge to document the weight of vehicles entering and departing the on-site.
• Verify that every weighing is carried out in line with organisation rules and applicable rules.
• Confirm vehicle description, cargo type, and quantities before and after loading/unloading.
• Preserve precise records of all financial record in the weighbridge system.
• Produce and problem weighbridge tickets to drivers.
• Resolve routine weight data and send documentation for executive review.
• Guarantee adherence with organisation Health, safety, and environment rules and lawful metrology guidelines.
• Documentation any discrepancies, overweight loads, or safety risks.
• Help in preserving the guard of on-site entrances and exits.
• Coordinate with drivers, suppliers, and internal employees competently.
• Offer clear directions to drivers to guarantee smooth on-site traffic flow.
• Track weighbridge tools effectiveness and documentation faults promptly.
• Ensure the weighbridge is clean, calibrated, and business at all times.
