Position Overview

We are seeking a initiative-driven and effectiveness-oriented Accounting officer to join our dynamic team in the FMCG sector. We are looking for a trustworthy and meticulous Accounting officer to oversee the financial processes of our organisation. The preferred candidate will be in charge of getting ready balance sheet and income statement, coordinating wage processing, and making sure adherence with all compliance obligations. This role requires a specialist with a deep knowledge of accounting principles and strong level of honesty and reliability. He /She must be current with accounting guidelines and legal provisions.

Primary duties

• Finance reporting: Organize precise and prompt balance sheet and income statement, which includes balance sheets, earnings statements, and money movement statements.
• General Ledger Management: Preserve and resolve general ledger accounts.
• Wage processing Management: Process wage processing and guarantee adherence with tax and other statutory qualifications.
• Auditing: Help with within and outside the organization audits.
• Tax Adherence: Organize and file tax returns and guarantee adherence with all tax legal provisions.
• Financial planning: Help in the project setup of financial plans and financial projections.

Credentials

• Bsc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
• At least 3–5 years demonstrated expertise in the position.
• Demonstrated expertise as an accounting officer.
• Competence with financial system (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and guidelines.
• Outstanding critical thinking and meticulousness.
• High level of honesty and reliability and secrecy.
• Robust corporate and verbal abilities
• A member of a professional body (ICAN, ACCA, etc.).
