Job Description
Position Targets
The Chief of Project coordination Workspace (PMO) is in charge of top the PMO operation, making sure the efficient dispatch of strategic and business projects across the company. This position delivers strategic monitoring, conceptualizes and executes standardized project coordination structured approaches, and ensures alignment of projects with corporate targets. The PMO Head will supervise initiative managers/planners, lead project sample compliance, coordinate executive-level status updates, and serve as a key communication link between project teams and executive guidance in a agile, dynamic financial technology environment.
Obligations & Duties
- Head the PMO operation, setting organizational approach and making sure best-in-class project compliance and dispatch procedures.
- Supervise the organizing, implementation, supervising, and closure of enterprise-wide projects, making sure alignment with business targets.
- Formulate and preserve standardized project coordination frameworks, design frameworks, resources, and structured approaches across the company.
- Offer direction and mentoring to PMs and planners, making sure a top-performing, dispatch-attentive team.
- Establish and oversee a strong collection of projects management process, which includes intake, prioritization, capacity planning, and status updates.
- Track project and programme effectiveness across the project sample, tracking achievements, risks, expenses, perks, and results.
- Head the project setup and visual communication of executive dashboards, effectiveness documentation, and project status reports to top level participants and compliance boards.
- Lead ongoing development programs, which includes lessons learned, project audits, and process upgrades.
- Coordinate cross-operational partnership and alignment cross-departmentally, making sure projects supply intended business value.
- Advocate an environment that fosters responsibility, creative invention, and outcomes-driven implementation inside the project coordination discipline.
- In collaboration with Human resources, in charge of attracting, recruiting, inspiring, compelling and maintaining employees in their units/departments and directorates by institutionalizing a healthy professional environment, nurturing advancement through development and progression avenues, supporting open dialog and response, identifying payments, and making sure fair and welcoming procedures.
Qualifications Education:
Bsc in Project coordination, Business Management, Engineering, Information Tech, or a relevant field. A MSC or accreditation in project coordination or commercial site is a plus.
Expertise:
At least 10 years of expertise in a project coordination, project synchronization, ideally in a financial technology or innovation-led environment. Basic comprehension of financial technology industry processes, goods, and project dispatch models is a plus.
Specialized abilities:
- Expert level with project coordination and project sample resources (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Monday.com, Smartsheet, Asana).
- In-depth understanding of Nimble, Waterfall, and hybrid project dispatch structured approaches.
- Robust command of effectiveness measurement frameworks, KPIs, and dashboards.
- Comprehension of adjustment management, participant relation, and project financial planning.
Qualifications:
PMP (Project coordination Specialist), PRINCE2 Practitioner, or equivalent accreditation is essential. Nimble/Scrum qualifications (e.g., Scrum Master, SAFe) are highly preferred.
