Overview

The Accounting officer is in charge of preserving precise finance records and making sure adherence with financial rules. This position will assist the finance team in getting ready financial statements, coordinating outstanding bills and receivable, and making sure productive financial processes inside the FMCG sector.

Primary duties Bookkeeping:

Preserve precise and current financial records, which includes general ledger entries, ledger summary, and financial statement. Resolve financial statements and other financial accounts to guarantee precision.

Costing & Stock Management:

Track stock accounting, and ensure accurate cost distribution for goods sold. Help in evaluating product cost systems and stock appraisal.

Tax Adherence:

Guarantee adherence with tax rules and prompt submitting of returns (e.g., VAT, Sales Tax, etc.). Help with project setup for audits and offer necessary recordkeeping.

Money movement Management:

Track and preserve money movement projections to guarantee sufficient liquidity. Documentation any concerns connected with cash management and suggest enhancements.

Credentials

• Education: Bsc in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field.
• Qualifications: CPA or equivalent (preferred but not required).
• Expertise: At least 2 - 3 years of expertise in accounting, ideally in an FMCG or production operations environment.

Competencies:

• Deep knowledge of accounting principles and financial rules.
• Competence in financial system (e.g., SageQuickBooks, Tally, or similar).
• Robust MS Excel competencies for financial evaluation.
• Meticulous with robust corporate and schedule control competencies.
• Capability to operate in a dynamic environment with tight due dates.

• Capability to operate independently and in a collaborative environment.
• Expertise in FMCG market trends, product costing, and finance Management methods is a plus.
