Combined Service Nursing officer at the Excellence Community Education Welfare Scheme (ECEWS) in Lagos

Role summary

The Combined Service Nursing officer will coordinate the consolidation of complete HIV/TB and other health solutions into current outpatient, inpatient, and expert care units, making sure comprehensive and customer-centered care dispatch across helped facilities. They will organize the initiatives of other ancillary employees for HIV service dispatch, under the direction of the TA clinical solutions and on-site employees at the health facility.

Duties

• Assist on-site level initiatives to embed HIV solutions into supporting clinical units (outpatient, inpatient, antenatal, etc.).
• Ensure smooth synchronization between HIV/Helps solutions and general health solutions.
• Assist the dispatch of HIV running test solutions, compliance counselling, and ART commencement at facility and volunteer work dispatch points by linking them to the applicable service vendors inside the facility or through enabled client recommendations, to sustain treatment.
• Coordinate diagnosis and treatment of co-infections and comorbidities.
• Assist PMTCT initiatives, which includes antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care.
• Organize the dispatch of health education and treatment literacy to PLHIV on applicable topics which includes ART, treatment compliance, U=U, and positive living.
• Ensure service alignment and prompt uptake of applicable solutions (e.g. TPT, MMD, DSD, Viral Load) to optimize customer encounters, reduce service fragmentation and enhance treatment results.
• Supervise pre-assignment reminders and tracking of missed assignments within 24 hours through phone, SMS, or home visits to guarantee treatment continuity.
• Assist in the dispatch of upgraded compliance counselling for customers with unsuppressed viral load.
• Coordinate the uptake of health coverage registration for PLHIV in allocated health facilities
• Execute additional obligations as allocated.
