Position Overview

We are looking for an skilled and outcomes-driven Farm operations manager to supervise the organizing, generation, and management of launch site habanero and greenhouse bell pepper processes. The preferred candidate will possess a solid experience in business-related vegetable generation, agronomy, and team lead, with demonstrated achievement in coordinating both launch site and protected cropping operational structures.

Primary duties

• Strategize organize, and oversee the full scope of lifecycle of habanero (launch site) and bell pepper (greenhouse) generation—from land project setup and planting to harvesting and post-harvest managing.
• Track crop health and execute combined pest and disease management plans.
• Enhance irrigation planning and fertigation strategies for both launch site and greenhouse environments.
• Ensure the accurate use and servicing & maintenance of agricultural machinery and greenhouse tools.
• Oversee and educate farm employees, laborers, and technicians to guarantee high productivity and compliance to safety procedures.
• Preserve precise records of inputs, results, returns, work, and other business data.
• Organize with logistics & supply teams for on-time completion of generate to market or processing.
• Track and oversee farm financial plans, input expenses, and work expenditures.
• Guarantee adherence with agricultural rules and food safety guidelines (e.g., GlobalGAP, HACCP, etc.).

Credentials and Expertise

• Bsc in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or relevant field.
• At least 5 years’ expertise coordinating business-related generation of launch site habanero and greenhouse bell peppers.
• Robust domain expertise in crop nutrition, irrigation, pest/disease management, and greenhouse processes.
• Expertise with modern farm admin systems, technical solutions, and analytics-based strategic judgment.
• Effective guidance, information exchange, and planning abilities.
• Capability to operate long hours, which includes weekends, during peak seasons.
• Valid driving permit and readiness to relocate and live on the farm.

Preferred Competencies:

• Understanding with climate regulate operational structures, fertigation units, and drip irrigation.
• Capability to analyze soil and plant tissue evaluation documentation.
• Expertise in export quality benchmarks for peppers.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or other local language) will be an added advantage.
