Role summary

Our customer is looking for a agile and outcomes-driven Business Development Officer to join their Maritime Navigation division. The preferred candidate will be in charge of recognizing new commercial opportunities, conceptualizing customer connections, and pushing income increase inside the navigation tools, operational structures, and solutions market.

Primary duties

• Recognize, formulate, and close new commercial opportunities inside the maritime navigation sector.
• Build and preserve solid connections with shipowners, operators, port governing bodies, and maritime agencies.
• Formulate and execute sales plans to meet and exceed income targets.
• Carry out market analysis to recognize practices, client needs, and rival activity.
• Organize and supply captivating demonstrations, proposals, and tender entries.
• Work alongside the technical services and operations teams to guarantee smooth dispatch of goods and solutions.
• Stand for the organization at maritime exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events.

Credentials

• Bsc in Business Management, Maritime Studies, or a relevant field (Master of business administration is a plus).
• Established history in business development or sales inside the maritime or associated industries.
• Solid understanding of maritime navigation goods, operational structures, and industry rules.
• Clear articulation, bargain, and public speaking.
• Capability to operate independently and as part of a cross-operational team.
• Readiness to commute domestically and internationally as necessary.
