Position Overview

The Farm operations manager will be in charge of the entire organizing, synchronization, and management of livestock farming processes. This comprises animal health and welfare, generation targets, employees oversight, and making sure adherence with biosecurity and industry rules.

Primary duties

• Supervise routine livestock care, feeding, and welfare.
• Track animal health, organize vaccinations, and coordinate with veterinary solutions.
• Oversee breeding, growth, and generation plans to reach targets.
• Oversee and educate farm employees, allocating routine duty and making sure effectiveness guidelines.
• Preserve precise records of generation, feed usage, health treatments, and inventory levels.
• Execute biosecurity measures and guarantee adherence possessing applicable rules.
• Oversee farm financial plans, regulate business expenses, and track stock.
• Supervise servicing & maintenance of farm facilities, tools, and housing units.
• Organize and send consistent effectiveness and business documentation for executive review.
• Lead ongoing development in generation methods and farm effectiveness.

Qualifications

• At least Higher national diploma/Bachelor's degree Academic qualification in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, Animal Generation and Health, Agricultural Science or relevant field.
• Demonstrated expertise (3+ years) coordinating livestock or poultry farm processes.
• Solid understanding of animal husbandry, nutrition, and biosecurity procedures.
• Outstanding executive guidance, information exchange, and planning abilities.
• Capability to operate under pressure and make quick, sound decisions.
• Competence in farm management software or document-keeping resources
• Competence in Office productivity software bundles.
