Position Overview
The Technical Procurement officer will be in charge of procurement suppliers, discussing terms agreements, coordinating buy orders, making sure on-time completion of goods, and preserving most effective stock levels by recognizing the best agreements on price, quality, and dispatch while operating within financial plan restrictions, all to meet the organization's business and servicing & maintenance needs.
Primary duties
- Organize, problem, and assess tenders, quotations, and proposals.
- Produce, oversee, and track buy orders, bills, and payments.
- Track and regulate stock levels, making sure prompt replenishment.
- Oversee financial plans, track expenditures, and ensure cost-performance
- Formulate and sustain connections with suppliers.
- Guarantee adherence with corporate rules, legal provisions, and rules.
- Discussing terms agreements with suppliers to acquire the best terms of buy, which includes discounts, shipping, and payment terms.
- Might be in charge of drafting agreements, discussing terms prices and volumes, coordinating organisation's stock chain or recognizing new suppliers.
- Routinely collaborate with lawful departments to agree on conditions for agreements and renewals
- Collate buy orders and buy requisitions in order to order materials, goods and inventory.
- Formation of buy orders; Calculate all order expenses and assess bills for precision; Organize and modify documentation, records and pricing lists.
- Preserve complete records of all buying initiatives, which includes procurement requests, RFQ, buy orders, and expenditure evaluation.
- Send buy orders to the suppliers.
- In charge of supervising the effectiveness of their suppliers. This includes evaluating dispatch precision, responding to any effectiveness concerns
- Follow through on any supplier modifications (Engineering Adjustment Notices); Convey supplier effectiveness; Preserve Planners informed on material status, setbacks.
- Track supplier effectiveness for the goods and solutions they offer; Sustain a operating connection with their supplier networks.
- Delivers IT assistance in the buy of servicing & maintenance tools in the plant.
Credentials
- Bsc in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- At least 10 years of expertise in procurement or stock chain management.
- Skilled in SAP and Ms office tools.
- Robust logical and bargaining ability.
- Expertise in supplier management and deal discussion.
- Clear articulation and people skills.
- Capability to operate independently and in a collaborative environment.
