Job Description
Duties
- Design and execute a organisation-wide guard structure in sync with Ntel’s business and business targets
- Establish guard rules, SOPs, and regulations and standards for all Ntel sites and staff
- Carry out periodic guard audits and risk evaluations across all sites
- Supervise guard of Ntel’s structure which includes data centers, base stations (BTS), fiber routes, switch sites, and regional workspaces
- Organize on-site hardening endeavors to reduce risks from vandalism, theft, terrorism, or sabotage
- Formulate and head crisis preparedness, response, and crisis management strategies
- Oversee investigative methods and coordinate with law enforcement agencies as required
- Select and oversee contracted out guard firms and security officer solutions across all regions
- Ensure vendor adherence with performance threshold agreements (SLAs), development, and status updates procedures
- Execute employee and executive protection procedures, which includes commute guard standardized processes
- Carry out profile checks and clearance for sensitive positions
- Head development sessions on office guard, consciousness, and crisis-management
- Ensure full adherence with national guard legal provisions, NCC qualifications, and telecom safety rules
- Fulfill the role of primary communication link with guard-associated regulatory bodies and compliance-related bodies
- Head and oversee regional guard teams spanning Nigeria
- Formulate effectiveness guidelines, capacity-building plans, and career advancement strategies
Education / Accreditation
Bsc in Criminology, Guard Management, Military Science, Risk mitigation strategy, or a relevant field Improved qualifications preferred: CPP (Accredited Protection Specialist), PSP, or equivalent
Expertise:
- 10+ years of expertise in corporate or structure guard, which includes 5+ years at top level management level
- Prior expertise in telecom, petroleum sector, or large-scale structure guard is highly preferred
- Military, paramilitary, or law enforcement profile is a plus
- Expertise conceptualizing business roadmap, carrying out guard audits,and coordinating issue resolution process methods.
Skills: Expertise:
- Outstanding expertise in physical and electronic guard operational structures
- Solid understanding of relevant legal provisions, rules, and industry guidelines connected with structure guard in an company.
- Current expertise in emerging securitytrends and technical solutions
- Good expertise in system issue analytics platforms, and basic surveillance technical solutions
