Job Description
Duties
The postholder will be necessary to guarantee the financial and lawful honesty and reliability of the company inside the structure of the rules and standardized processes established and the qualifications of the local law. This role includes a full range of financial controller and synchronization initiatives. S/he will assist in making key strategic decisions of both the Local Rights Program (LRP) and Sponsorship management as a whole; in addition to offer input to strategic strategies especially with regards to quantitative effectiveness measures and indicators. S/he will take a head on the local child sponsorship plan in terms of designing execution of suitable system of accounting and internal regulate; organize the roll out of financial execution strategy of the local child sponsorship in specific sites as will be decided by ActionAid Nigeria and ensure it performance, effectiveness and adherence possessing applicable guidelines and law.
Expertise:
- A minimum of 7 years’ post service expertise, covering a minimum of 4 years post specialist certification expertise is crucial.
- Expertise in executing financial controller operational structures is crucial.
- Expertise in using Financial system, Operational structures & Spreadsheets is crucial.
- Expertise in operating with International development agencies in a similar role is preferred.
- Expertise of operating in a diverse workplace is preferred.
- Audit firm expertise is preferred.
