Accounting officer at Amitouch Global Concepts Limited in Lagos

Position Overview

The Accounting officer will be in charge of coordinating all accounting processes for the organization, which includes the general ledger, outstanding bills/receivable, wage processing, finance reporting, and tax project setup. The preferred candidate will possess robust technical accounting competencies, be skilled in using tax project setup software like Tax Promax, and possess background operating in a efficient paced, diverse business environment.

Duties

• Preserve precise and current general ledger, which includes processing and recording all financial financial record
• Oversee outstanding bills and outstanding receivables, which includes issuing bills, processing payments, and adjusting accounts
• Organize every month/every quarter/yearly balance sheet and income statement and documentation
• Resolve bank accounts and other financial statement accounts
• Calculate and process wage processing, which includes tax withholdings and remittances
• Organize and file all necessary tax returns and forms, which includes utilizing Tax Promax software
• Help with financial planning, predicting, and other as-needed financial evaluation as needed
• Work alongside cross-operational teams to offer financial information and assist business programs
• Guarantee adherence with supporting accounting guidelines, rules, and organizational guidelines
• Help in the project setup of audit documents and coordinate with external auditors
• Stay current with market trends, industry standards, and modifications in accounting rules

Qualifications

• Bsc in Accounting or Finance, or a relevant field
• 3 - 5 years of applicable accounting expertise, ideally in production operations, corporate identity & logistics, and events.
• Must be skilled in using financial system, which includes Tax Promax for tax project setup
• Robust technical accounting competencies with a deep knowledge of GAAP
• Outstanding logical and issue resolution abilities
• Robust verbal and professional writing competencies
• Capability to operate independently and in a collaborative environment
• ICAN (Institute of Chartered Accounting officer) accreditation is essential possess
• Understanding with Enterprise platform planning operational structures and data governance.
