Technical Sales and Business Development Manager at Kloverharris Limited in Lagos

Role summary

The TS and BD Manager is in charge of conceptualizing market avenues inside the foundations segment. He will support to the growth of the segment by opening up new businesses & avenues through proper and precise implementation, which comprises order management, logistics, recordkeeping and all associated initiatives. The candidate will be in charge of the revenue generation and the technical advancement of all steel foundation goods (sheet piles, foundation pipes, foundation beams, accessories) in the respective region. The role may engage international position rotations at any of our worldwide workspaces global to formulate the requisite competencies in doing technical designs and business-related proposals. In the long term, the role will be based at one of our workspaces in Africa with regional and international commute, as necessary.

Business-related:

• Formulate and preserve a solid connection and network with engineering firms, building companies, regulatory bodies etc, in order to:
• Recognize new / upcoming projects
• Introduce new goods and initiatives
• Recognize and explore technical industry trends
• Formulate, in meeting with the customer, creative foundation initiatives on key structure projects
• Make sure that all participated during planning phase process are conscious of our latest progress updates
• In charge of making proposals and project supervising
• Make calculations for pricing sophisticated projects
• Offer findings that feed into the yearly financial plan making process as concerns upcoming projects and anticipated volumes to schedule.

Expertise and Expertise

• At least 3 years related experience
• Expertise in Civil Engineering, building industry and trading goods which includes guidelines, applications, production operations and processing, pricing, and calculation methods
• Academic qualification, ideally in civil engineering. Possession of a MSC will be a plus
• Good business-related findings
• Good speaker, capable to discuss confidently across a multi cultural environment
• Wide expertise in various computer programs which includes MS workspace and Enterprise platform planning bundles
• Related experience on installation of piles and or design of FS projects
• Fluent in English language. Fluency in French and/or Portuguese will be a plus.
