We are actively searching for an Engineering operations manager, Backend – QuickCommerce to join the QuickCommerce team at Glovo, Barcelona on our journey to always supply amazing experiences.

You will be in charge of the product that aids our clients track their orders and possess a direct effect on the dispatch expertise of users around the world.

You will work on our next-production operational base to not only offer groceries for our hungry clients but also other routine immediate needs like drinks, fruits, snacks but also batteries.
You will head a team to design, formulate, test, and deploy ability to scale solutions.
You will team up with PMs, engineering key stakeholders, and executive guidance across Q-Commerce.
You will employ and formulate engineers, with a strong insight of nimble software development structured approaches
You will be coordinating a cross-operational team with backend, frontend and mobile profiles.
You are not shying away from building dependable, ability to scale operational structures with high concurrency and are always keen to grow and execute new languages & technical solutions. Your decisions will make an effect since your creative thoughts & endeavors do matter.

2 years of cross-operational team leadership background with backend, frontend, and test engineers.
You possess a T profile with deep expertise in a minimum of one backend language, but capable to comprehend the technical difficulty of frontend, structure, mobile & Quality assurance. If needed you can land on a new project, learn the underline technical solutions and comprehend the entire technical parts.
3 years of expertise in applications structure management and processes.
Expertise in operating nimble structured approaches.
Expertise in specialist software engineering procedures & industry standards for the full software development life cycle which includes coding guidelines, code assessments, acquire regulate management, build methods, running test, and processes.
Strong insight of service-oriented and modular, independently deployable services architectural patterns, diagnosing issues methods, and industry standards.
