Project officer at Grass Root Advocacy for Community Empowerment Initiative (GRACE Initiative) in Maiduguri, Borno

Position Objective

The Programme Manager will directly oversee the Project officer and will play a vital position in assisting the GRACE Plan's various projects and programs. By committing their time, competencies, and enthusiasm, Programme Officers support directly to optimizing the lives of at risk populations, nurturing public involvement, and supporting maintainable development procedures.

Public involvement:

• Engage with recipients and group members to comprehend their needs and ambitions.
• Coordinate information exchange between the company and local participants.
• Advance group involvement and ownership in project initiatives.

Credentials and Expertise

• Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree Academic qualification with 1 year of work expertise.
• Expertise and keen enthusiasm in zones which includes Nutrition, Education, PSS, WASH, GBV, women and youth empowerment, sexual and reproductive health, ecological justice, and livelihoods.
• At least 2 years of demonstrated expertise in executing or managing programs, ideally in a non-governmental company (NGO) setting.
• Proven expertise in data collection, management, and basic status updates.
• Understanding with locally-driven programming and operating with at risk populations.
• Expertise in employees oversight or team synchronization is an asset.
