Position Overview

The Finance and Management Manager will supervise the financial processes and managerial initiatives of the BDC, making sure precise finance reporting, sound treasury management, and full adherence with relevant legal provisions. The position also comprises joint custodianship of the organization’s vault, necessitating high professional conduct, honesty and reliability, and trustworthiness.

Primary duties

• Oversee the daily accounting processes which includes general ledger, outstanding receivables/payable, settlement, and wage processing.
• Organize and evaluate balance sheet and income statement, compliance-related returns, financial plans, and projections.
• Ensure proper managing of forex cash, deposits, and liquidity to meet business needs.
• Execute regulates for coordinating vault inflows/outflows and ensure routine balancing of vault holdings.
• Assist audits, tax filings, and returns (e.g., VAT, PAYE, WHT, FIRS).
• Serve as a joint custodian of the BDC vault alongside appointed management staff.
• Ensure adherence to dual regulate procedures, physical vault guard, and routine vault adjustments.
• Document, track, and permit all forex vault entries, transfers, and settlements.
• Explore and at once documentation discrepancies in cash managing or vault records.
• Guarantee adherence with CBN, FIRS, and other finance reporting obligations.
• Preserve current recordkeeping and plans for CBN examination and internal audits.
• Ensure the precision and thoroughness of the organization’s finance records in line with IFRS.
• Supervise procurement, facility servicing & maintenance, logistics, and vendor management.
• Oversee administrative personnel to guarantee smooth back-workspace processes.
• Oversee employee records, advantage management, and coordinate with Human resources for wage processing.

Credentials and Expertise

• At least a Bachelor's degree. Or Higher national diploma academic qualification in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Management.
• ICAN, ACCA, or other identified accounting accreditation is compulsory.
• At least 7 years’ related experience, which includes a minimum of 3 years in a financial institution.
• Deep knowledge of CBN compliance obligations and vault processes.
• Expertise in Crypto, USDT, is a plus.
