Factory Accounting officer at Ascentech Services Limited in Calabar, Cross River

Job Description

We are looking for a highly proficient and skilled Factory Accounting officer to join our team in Calabar.
The preferred candidate will be accountable for managing and coordinating all financial processes inside the factory processes, which includes expense management, stock management, financial planning, and finance reporting.
This position requires a meticulous, ICAN-accredited specialist with robust expertise in a production operations environment.

Organize, track, and oversee factory financial plans, projections, and financial difference assessment
Execute and preserve cost accounting operational structures to track production operations expenditures
Organize every month management accounts and thorough costing documentation
Carry out stock appraisal, inventory settlement, and inventory regulate methods
Ensure precise cost distribution to goods and departments
Track CAPEX and OPEX expenditure inside the factory
Execute internal financial audits to guarantee adherence and recognize variances
Work alongside processes and stock chain teams for cost-saving programs
Assist the external audit process with factory-associated accounting records
Guarantee adherence with compliance-related and statutory qualifications

Bsc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field
ICAN Accreditation (Compulsory)
3–5 years of related experience in production operations or FMCG accounting
Solid understanding of costing principles, stock management, and factory finance
Skilled in Excel spreadsheet software and financial system (e.g., SAP, Sage, QuickBooks)
Outstanding logical, corporate, and analytical abilities
Capability to operate independently and under pressure in a dynamic environment
Robust interpersonal and verbal abilities
