Accounting officer at Elizabeth Maddeux Limited in Abuja (FCT)

Position Overview

We are seeking a hardworking and professional accountant to manage the comprehensive financial methods of our bakery processes. The preferred candidate must be cozy with operating in a dynamic FMCG environment, competent of adjusting stock with generation, coordinating various accounts, and offering strategic findings for cost optimization.

Tax & Legal adherence:

Organize and file PAYE, VAT, WHT, and other statutory returns. Ensure precise and prompt remittances in line with FIRS and other compliance obligations.

Stock & Expense management:

• Resolve unedited material usage with generation result and sales.
• Track Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and suggest effectiveness enhancements.
• Carry out every month inventory-taking with the store officer and audit officer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree/Higher national diploma in Accounting or Finance.
• 3–5 years of expertise in a similar position, ideally in an FMCG setting.
• Competence in financial system (QuickBooks, Sage, Excel).
• Membership of ICAN or ACCA (or in advancement).
• Sound comprehension of tax legal provisions, internal regulates, and production operations cost systems.
