Job Description

Position Objective

The Primary Healthcare Officer will ensure the quality of solutions in the target HF in Kaga, Mobbar and other LGAs outside MMC/Jere through strengthening capacities on clinical management according to national and WHO direction and coordinating the consolidation of solutions connected with newborn and child health. With the assist of the Primary Health coordinator, The candidate will supervise the daily initiatives/solutions offered at the PHC centres and will generally assist the recordkeeping and inventory-management of products, medicines/consumables, and data resources.

Key Zones of Responsibility

  • Offer daily technical and programmatic assist connected with clinical, diet-focused, and combined medical solutions at the facility level directed by national standard procedures, plans, and approaches connected with the execution of premium quality medical service programs.
  • Across all helped health facilities outside MMC/Jere, ensure precise clinical triage, clerking, examination, and management of communicable and non-communicable diseases. 
  • Assist MOH employees to decide cases that will require referral to a higher center 
  • Build the capacity of Current healthcare workers through on-the-position development and training sessions 
  • In partnership with MOH employees, doctors, nurses/midwives head the carry out of outreach solutions, offering life-saving primary healthcare solutions. 
  • Assist MOH employees on rational use of pharmaceutical and medical tools 
  • Ensure usage of pharmaceuticals is tracked. 
  • Make sure that all the necessary medical tools is always accessible and operational across helped facilities. 
  • Assist consistent trouble soothing and servicing & maintenance of medical tools and ensure prompt fix or replacement of impaired tools 
  • Supervise the group-level health initiatives through close synchronization with the nurses/midwives and the public health mobilization Support. 
  • Support to the development of lessons learned from programs and projects connected with Clinical, diet-focused, and combined medical solutions and submit application these lessons to modify current programs and enhance the design of new programs. 
  • Help in strengthening a system of status updates on programme advancement against stated targets and M&E frameworks. 
  • Support to the development of programme plans, subproject documents, and work strategies. 
  • Ensure the health facility environment is safe for children and mothers 
  • Guarantee adherence with standard medical waste management. 
  • Works closely with allocated team to guarantee initiatives are executed according to standard operating standardized processes (SOPs). 
  • •Build the capacity of Current healthcare workers through on-the-position development and training sessions 
  • Skills development for Public health Workers (CHWs) through structured development. 
  • Offer monitoring for group-level sessions, initiatives, and other collaborations 
  • Formulate a work strategy for PHC solutions and group-level health interventions according to the anticipated advancement of the project. 
  • Offer daily training to facility health workers 
  • Assist consistent combined joint oversight of health facility 
  • Adhere with SCI Worldwide Medical standardized process and instrument and ensure prompt medical incidence status updates

Additional Credentials:

Work expertise in health/community health and or in a health/community health company, which includes as a trainer. Expertise with offering institutional assist and technical support to development associates, government/group institutions.
