3D Simulation / Animated visuals Technician at Deep Blue Energy Services Limited in Lagos Island, Lagos

Position Overview

We are looking for a innovative and technically proficient 3D Simulation / Animated visuals Technician to join our engineering and visualization team. The successful applicant will be in charge of changing 2D AutoCAD drawings into 3D models and conceptualizing premium quality 3D animated visuals to assist engineering design assessments, customer demonstrations, and remote marine operations project organizing. Competence in AutoCAD and widely adopted 3D motion design tools is essential. Expertise in the petroleum sector sector and the capability to convey in French are assessed advantages, though not required.

Primary duties

• Preserve precise file systems, backups, version regulate, and rendering pipelines.
• Ensure uniformity with corporate identity standard procedures, project guidelines, and customer requirements.
• Transform 2D technical drawings (AutoCAD) into 3D models appropriate for visualization and simulation.
• Produce photorealistic or schematic 3D animated visuals illustrating engineering processes, building sequences, remote marine operations installation initiatives, or tools processes.
• Export and combine 3D models into animated visuals channels such asAutodesk 3ds Max, Blender, Cinema 4D, or Unreal Engine for premium quality rendering and agile scene formation.
• Work alongside engineers, PMs, and technical creative writers to formulate creative assets that precisely speaks for sophisticated methods and tools.
• Enhance animated visuals content for demonstrations, development, promotion, or business simulations.
• Refine and assemble concluding animated visuals outputs which includes sound, outcomes, scene changes, and voice overs if necessary.

Credentials and Expertise

• Academic qualification, certification, or a member of a professional body in Animated visuals, Digital media design, Engineering Visual production tools, or a relevant field.
• 3–5 years expertise in Three-dimensional rendering and animated visuals, preferably in industrial or engineering environments.
• Robust competence inAutoCAD for composing and model transformation.
• Improved competencies in one or more 3D animated visuals and rendering channels which includes:
• Autodesk 3ds Max
• Blender
• Cinema 4D
• Unreal Engineor Unity (for instantaneous simulations)
• Autodesk Maya(for sophisticated animated visuals)
• Comprehension of visual content editing resources which includes Adobe After Outcomes or Premiere Pro is an asset.
• Expertise in file data layouts, mesh optimization, lighting, texturing, rigging, and animated visuals methods.
• Expertise with engineering visualization in theoil and gas industry is a robust advantage.
• French language skill will be an added advantage, especially for assisting French-speaking customers or participants.
