Position Overview

• As a Chief - Lawful, you will collaborate with the Executive manager, Lawful or Chief of Lawful, assisting build a robust adherence culture across the business.
• You’ll serve as a primary ally to the business, making sure our teams comprehend the legal & regulatory frameworks that regulate our processes: locally, regionally, and internationally.
• This position isn’t just about counsel: it’s about assisting the business expect adjustment, evaluate risk, and act confidently.
• You’ll work cross-functional units and jurisdictions, offering compliance assistance that enables bold but in charge growth.

Primary duties

• Comprehend and advise the business on relevant legal provisions, rules, and guidelines across all jurisdictions where Cellulant operates.
• Analyze legal provisions and assist the business design programs that guarantee adherence.
• Assist and execute legal compliance methods which includes composing, discussing terms, and analyzing business-related agreements.
• Evaluate and advise on authorizing, authorizations, and registrations necessary to operate lawfully in different markets.
• Stand for the business in business-related disputes, which includes court proceedings or alternative conflict management forums.
• Teach employees and executive guidance on the effect of legal & regulatory qualifications.
• Evaluate emerging legal provisions and rules to recognize both risk and avenue for the business.
• Work alongside the Chief of Lawful to foster efficient adherence frameworks.
• Preserve active connections with authorities and lawful governing bodies at local, national, and regional levels.
• Offer lawful direction on job and other business matters as needed.

Qualifications Certification:

• A Bsc in Law with a minimum of 6 years of applicable professional background.
• Robust lawful judgment and the capability to endorse practical initiatives.
• Capability to manage sophisticated lawful concerns across management and business levels.
• Clear articulation and people skills.
• Business consciousness and sound executive guidance capabilities.

Nice to Possess:

Cross-border lawful expertise. Adherence qualifications which includes CIPP or CAMS.

Expertise:

• At least 5 years of lawful expertise, with a minimum of 3 years in a high-level position.
• Strong insight of financial technology rules, which includes payments, crypto, and lending.
• Verified ability to build lawful plans that assist business expansion.
• Proficient in bargain and agreement composing.
• Proven expertise aligning lawful frameworks with strategic business targets.
