Job Description
Position Goal
As the Chief, Merchant Solutions, you will head cross-operational teams and work alongside tech, product, and adherence units to guarantee a smooth and principle-based merchant expertise while progressing the organization’s market positioning as a top financial technology supplier of payment and commerce initiatives. The preferred candidate will be in charge of pushing the aspiration, plan, processes, and growth of our merchant obtaining and servicing business. This comprises expanding merchant purchase, optimizing orientation and retention methods, and optimizing product offerings across in-store, SME, and enterprise segments.
Processes & Results tracking:
Work alongside product and technical groups to fashion designer payment initiatives (POS, online payments, QR, SoftPOS, etc.) that meet multifaceted merchant needs.
Team lead & Development:
Build and head a top-performing Merchant Solutions team, which includes sales, account management, assist, and site processes. Set effectiveness targets and KPIs, oversee unit-specific financial plans, and offer mentoring for team development.
Qualifications Education:
Bsc in Business Management, Finance, Promotion, Economics, or a relevant field (Master of business administration or postgraduate degree will be an added advantage).
Expertise:
At least 10 years of related experience in financial technology, banking, or payments—with a minimum of 3 years in a top level or unit-specific executive function. Post service expertise.
